Opening of Dunkin’ Donuts in Cobb could mean a year of free coffee

Have you ever found yourself near McEachern High craving Dunkin’ Donuts but unwilling to travel the whole four miles to either the one on Dallas Highway or the Hiram location?

If so, Saturday is going to be a real winner for you.

That’s when a new Dunkin’ opens at 4100 Macland Road.

"(We) are thrilled to be part of and serve the Powder Springs community,” said franchisee Dave Baumgartner.

How clean are SunTrust Park food stands compared to other ballparks?

The store is selling 99-cent medium hot or iced coffees on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

And the first 50 people in line will win a coupon book for a year a free coffee, said Guy Rudiger, who is with the public relations firm handling the event. Someone will be there at 7 a.m. to count the first 50.

Rudiger said the location is expected to employ between 30 and 40 people, with a mix of full-time and part-time positions.
