There’s a big holiday this weekend.
No, not Cinco de Mayo, but that’s fun too.
The big holiday is Nerd Christmas, also known as “Free Comic Book Day.”
Comic book stores around the country will be shelling out free copies of colorful pages filled with superheros on Saturday, May 6. About 50 comics will be available for free, with titles ranging from “Betty & Veronica” to “Secret Empire” to “Wonder Woman” to “Doctor Who.”
Stores around metro Atlanta will be participating in the holiday, and some locations will have other events and giveaways centered around it.
