If you’re a home brewer who’d like to see your creation served in a popular metro Atlanta restaurant chain, take heed of this upcoming contest.
Taco Mac and Woodstock-based Reformation Brewery have partnered for the fifth annual Southern Home Brewer's Challenge.
A panel of Taco Mac and Reformation representatives will judge submissions and announce a winner on July 22.
Reformation will then “fine tune the recipe to work in its brew system for commercial production, aiming for a release date during Reformation’s Beer of the Month slot in November,” according to a news release.

The winning home brew recipe in the pro-am competition will be sold at Taco Mac restaurants across the Southeast.
Submissions can be turned in at Georgia Taco Mac restaurants during June and July. See the schedule below, and full rules here.
Drop offs must be made between 5-8 p.m. on the following dates.
• June 6 at Taco Mac in Woodstock
• June 9 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw
• June 13 at Taco Mac at Prado
• June 16 at Taco Mac in Crabapple
• June 20 at Taco Mac at Windward Parkway
• June 23 at Taco Mac in Peachtree City
• June 27 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw
• June 30 at Taco Mac at Metropolis
• July 11 at Taco Mac in Duluth
• July 14 at Taco Mac at Woodstock
