Gwinnett County will celebrate its 30th annual Lighting of the Tree while your stomach is still full of turkey.

The yearly celebration will take place on the evening of Thanksgiving, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse in Lawrenceville.

The 35-foot Norway spruce, which was brought to the county from western North Carolina, will be decorated in “tens and thousands of white lights,” the county said in a release. Santa himself will light the tree and be available for photos afterward. There will also be a party complete with live music, Christmas carols and vendors.

The courthouse is located at 185 Crogan St. in Lawrenceville. Thanksgiving is on Thursday, Nov. 23.
