Do you think you know stuff? Do you want to know more stuff? Do you have a dime?

Great.

This weekend is the Cobb County library's spring book sale, where materials will start at 10 cents and go up to $4.

The book sale will run Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Cobb County Civic Center, 548 S. Marietta Parkway. It’s cash and checks only.

From November$10M Cobb library set to open soon with no funding beyond first year

The sale includes donated novels, non-fiction books, children's literature, DVDs, home and garden books, travel books and all those other types of books, according to the Facebook event page.

All the money goes right back to fund Cobb's 16 public libraries.

The event starts at 9 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, but at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Each day ends at 5 p.m.

Sunday is BYOB (bring your own box) day, so that means you can fill up any box for $10 or $20 depending on the types of books.

But “box” isn’t exactly right — the library system said it has seen suitcases, briefcases and reusable grocery bags. The receptacle can be any size, you just have to be able to get it to your vehicle.
