Ever dream of swilling rosé alongside your favorite “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” castoffs while watching a dozen women of questionable emotional stability date the same man? Well, your dreams are about to come true.
Eight former contestants from the “Bachelor” franchise will be the guests of honor at “The Ultimate Bachelor Viewing Party” in Decatur on Monday, Jan. 30. For $50, you will have the privilege of sitting near them while you watch the bizarre but addictive reality series. This week's episode left off with a 23-year-old mental health counselor and a 24-year-old woman (whose parents still employ a nanny for her) arguing over who was “emotionally mature” enough to marry the 36-year-old Bachelor.
General admission guests will get two drink tickets and access to a cash bar. VIP guests will get a special meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with the “Bachelor” alums, as well as front-row “luxury seating” and unlimited drinks.
Jenn Hobby and Jeff Dauler of Star 94’s Jeff and Jenn Show will host the event, which is a fundraiser for Snellville-based organization Helping Mamas, a “baby supply bank” that distributes diapers and other necessities to metro Atlanta moms in need.
The former contestants who will be attending are:
- Wells Adams, a radio DJ from Nashville who, frankly, should have been the Bachelor this season
- Carly Waddell and Evan Bass, who like a cruise singer Cinderella and erectile dysfunction specialist Prince Charming, met and became engaged on "Bachelor in Paradise" this summer
- Kelly Travis, an Atlanta native
- Robbie Hayes, a "Bachelorette" runner-up from Florida
- Jared Haibon, a Rhode Island restaurant manager who survived two seasons of "Bachelor in Paradise"
- Chase McNary, who was recently rumored to be dating controversial conservative commentator Tomi Lahren
- Christy Hansen, a Chicago native who was most recently on "Bachelor in Paradise"
The event begins at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30 at the Vista Room in Decatur. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
