The shelter is offering free photos of pets with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 9 for anyone who adopts a pet or donates wet or dry salmon-free cat or dog food between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. You must bring your dogs on a leash with proof of rabies vaccination. Cats must be in carriers.

There will be a photographer on site and the photos will be emailed to you. You can also bring your own camera.

The Gwinnett County Animal Shelter is located at 884 Winder Highway in Lawrenceville.
