If like Johnny Cash and you've ever found yourself saying "I've got a thing about trains," then clear your calendar May 13.

That's when the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History in Kennesaw will host a model train show.

Head to the museum, 2829 Cherokee St., from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for historic model Lionel and American Flyer trains, according to the museum.

Vendors will only take cash. Admission for non-museum members is $7.50, $6.50 for those 60 years and older, $5.50 for children ages 4 to 12 years old and free for children under 4.

For the little conductors, there will be an interactive train layout in the Jolley Education Center.

And in case you didn't know, May 13 is National Train Day, which is celebrated on tracks all over the county.
