A mistletoe sale and “doggie kissing booth” will soon be held at a Grant Park pet supply store to raise money for a nonprofit.

Proceeds from the event at Intown Healthy Hound will benefit Stubby's Heroes, which advocates on behalf of pit bulls and other "bully breeds."

The mistletoe, $5, will be sold in sealed bags and tied with bows to benefit the charity. The plant will also be hung high above the donation-based kissing booth to “encourage doggie kisses with owners,” according to an event volunteer.

A professional photographer will be on hand to take photos for Stubby’s website. Guests can also take photos with a provided selfie stick.

The event is Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 891 Cherokee Avenue SE.
