Normally when two corporate employees duke it out in front of a cheering crowed, it’s cause for termination — or at least an uncomfortable meeting with Nelson from human resources.

But on May 3, such a spectacle will be completely encouraged.

That's because it'll be sanctioned by Atlanta Corporate Fight Night 13, an amateur boxing competition that benefits Open Hand Atlanta. Open Hand prepares, packages and delivers meals daily to residents who are ill, elderly or otherwise in need.

Boxers, chosen through a selective audition process, complete a ten-week training program and campaign to raise sponsors. On the night of the event, they fight for the title of champion during three two-minute rounds.

Here is this year’s bout list:

Joshua Rodriguez vs. Alex Dvorkin

Eli Flint vs. David Lilenfeld

Quinton Emerson vs. Jona Amssoms

Vikram Shingane vs. Chris Magann

Luis Damian vs. Jose Coronado

Abdel Selouane vs. Julian Schienerman

Archie Clay vs. Justin Dodd

Brian Brouilliard vs. Muhammad Oriahkill

Lisa Belcer vs. Sara Schuler

Reico Walker vs. Jamal Taylor

Torre Bright vs. TBA

CFN was established in 2010 by promoter Terri Moss, who boxed professionally from 2002 to 2007 and won a Women's International Boxing Federation title. Her event has since become known as a popular affair with cocktails, silent auctions and entertainment.

Celebrity boxers who have appeared as special guests include Evander Holyfield, Pernell Whitaker, Meldrick Taylor, Tyrell Biggs and Mark Breland, according to the website.

CFN has been hosted in ballrooms, night clubs and art centers. This year, it'll be held in downtown Atlanta at Southern Exchange Ballrooms, 200 Peachtree St.

Tickets range from $30 for standing room general admission to $5,000 for the Gold Sponsor Executive VIP 10-seat table; you can purchase them here. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the first bell is at 6:45 p.m. on May 3.
