Attention former fourth graders: You’ve made it into the elusive fifth grader-dom.
For this accomplishment, the Kennedy Space Center is rewarding you with a free, one-day admission to the visitor complex this summer.
The offer is part of the Summer of Mars campaign, which focuses on the future of space exploration and Mars missions, according to a news release.
The space center is about 45 minutes away from Orlando, and 500 or so miles from Atlanta.

Some of the center’s activities with a Mars focus include the “Journey To Mars: Explorers Wanted” live theater and interactive experience, the “Journey to Space 3D” film in the IMAX Theater and Cosmic Quest, an interactive game.
The nationwide deal is valid from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends (May 26 to Sept. 4) for incoming fall 2017 fifth graders. A fourth-grade report card verifying that the child is an incoming fifth grader, a passport or a birth certificate to show age is required.
The "Ticket to Mars" is available here; it can be printed and presented at any ticket window. Note that there's a limit of three free children's tickets per paying adult, and they're not valid for use with any other offers.
Admission is $50 plus tax for adults and $40 plus tax for children ages three to 11.
