Q: My mother reads your column each week, as do I. She has been wearing Revlon Moon Drops lipstick for years, and would like to find somewhere we could purchase a couple of tubes of 716, Sugar Poppy. I have searched drug stores and on the Internet with no luck. Mother is elderly, does not get out much, and is not Internet savvy. However, I would be happy to pick it up or order it online. It would make her so happy if you could locate this item for her. All women love their lipstick! Ann Blake, Lilburn

A: Ann, I’m in your mother’s camp as a fan of Revlon Moon Drops, and many shades are getting harder to find, so it’s wise to start stockpiling while you still can. I have quite a few new tubes of Moon Drops 24K Orange stashed. You’ll find a few tubes left on Amazon.com for $13 and up, and I also found Revlon Sugar Poppy on www.tipcosmetic.com for $9.99 per tube.

Q: I am looking for Spike Vege-Sal Magic Gourmet natural seasoning. It has been available in grocery stores in Henry County, but I can no longer find it. Thank you. — Jean Peacock, email

A: Jean, I’m going to send you just to the next county, where you’ll find plenty of your all-purpose seasoning. Spike Vege-Sal Magic contains no added MSG, and includes a blend of salt, soy sauce, vegetables and molasses. You can find 10-ounce boxes for $6.99 at Peachtree Natural Foods, 152 Peachtree East Shopping Center, Peachtree, 770-487-8288.

Q: I make ice cream the old-fashioned way with a hand crank wooden freezer. I can’t find real crushed ice anywhere. Everyone has cubed ice, which does not freeze the cream as well. I live in the Emory/ Toco Hill neighborhood. Hope you can help. — Jim Bell, email

A: Jim, how lucky for those who get to feast on your freshly churned ice cream. Check out Reddy Ice, 1578 Taylor Ave., Atlanta, 404-762-9455. You can buy 10-pound bags of crushed ice for $1.20, and 20 pounds will set you back $2.40. Reddy Ice is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and until 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Q: Please help me. I am 75 years old and have looked everywhere for old-fashioned aluminum webbed chairs. They are so much lighter to take to my grandson’s swim meet — or anywhere. I can’t figure out if they just don’t make them anymore or, if they are available, why they’re so difficult to find. Please, please help. Thanks. — Charlotte Czekala, Cumming

A: Charlotte, I’m with you. I don’t know why these aren’t still popular. Sure, they don’t scrunch up like the newer folding chairs, but they weigh next to nothing, which is a big plus in my book. The good news is that they’re still available if you know where to look. In your area, simply call Glazes True Value Hardware, 698 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming, 770-889-4760. Then ask to order the Rio brand aluminum and woven folding chair, and give the item number 164806. Your lightweight lawn chair costs $24.99. Order on Wednesdays and the chair will be in stock, ready to pick up, the following Friday, with no shipping charges.
