Q: I recently came upon a lasagna recipe that I very much wish to attempt at home. As I began to get the ingredients together, I immediately ran into a problem with the first ingredient: dried spinach lasagna sheets. I went to my usual grocery stores with no luck. I went to some high-end stores; still I had no luck. I checked online and was able to find Delverde pasta that makes these noodles. I was unable to find any stores that sold them. I would prefer to drive anywhere in the Atlanta area to get them as opposed to ordering them online. Your help in finding these lasagna noodles would be very much appreciated. Thank you. — Dean Chambers, Marietta

A: Dean, as you’ve noticed, spinach lasagna sheets are pretty difficult to find. While I didn’t find Delverde instant spinach lasagna sheets locally, I did find a substitute that should satisfy your recipe needs. Check out Toscano and Sons Italian Market, 1050 N. Highland Ave., Atlanta, 404-815-8383. The store is packed with Italian products, and it also serves freshly baked breads and desserts as well as sandwiches, meats and cheeses. Toscano and Sons stocks a variety of pastas, including Riscossa spinach dried lasagna sheets that you don’t need to precook. A package that weighs just over one pound costs $3.99.

Q: As a child, my mother would bake cakes, and her favorite was a jelly cake. She would use a jelly called Rex red jelly. Is it still manufactured? — C. Norton, Duluth

A: To some, Rex jelly brings to mind the glossy red filling found in raspberry jelly donuts. This filling gained popularity in the 1930s, but it's a rare commodity today. Some fans choose to make it themselves, and the recipe calls for raspberry-flavored powdered drink mix, pectin, sugar, water and lemon juice. I found only one place where you can purchase Rex jelly. The Amish-made jelly is available through www.mamajscabin.com, and the rustic cabin is located in the rolling hills of southern Tennessee. You also can call in your order, 931-762-0678, and a 16-ounce jar costs $4.95.

Q: I don’t drive much, but I’d like to see if you can find a product close to my neighborhood near Emory University. I can’t seem to locate Lipton Black Cherry Dragonfruit liquid tea mix. I can find other flavors, but this one is my favorite and I haven’t seen it at my grocery store lately. Thank you for your help. — Edward Smith, email

A: Lipton makes a variety of Tea & Honey Liquids that come in 2.43-ounce, yellow squeeze bottles. You’ll find Black Cherry Dragonfruit liquid iced tea mix for $3.69 at Target, 2400 N. Druid Hills Road, Atlanta, 404-267-0060. Look for Lipton in the flour/sugar aisle.

Q: I don’t usually have trouble finding popular candies from England in supermarkets, but there’s one I haven’t seen locally. I’d like to find Fry’s Orange Cream. Thanks. — Bobbie Reid, Milton

A: Now owned by Cadbury’s, Fry’s offers three flavors: Fry’s Chocolate Cream, Fry’s Orange Cream and Fry’s Peppermint Cream. These candy bars are made with flavored fondant coated in dark chocolate. You’ll find Fry’s Orange Cream for $1.99 each at The Corner Shop, 114 S. Park Square, Marietta, 770-794-8747.
