Q: I have been using Maybelline ExpertWear eyebrow pencil for most of my life. The Lord forgot to give me eyebrows, so I need help. The pencil I had been using is the mechanical pencil – comes one to a pack in light brown. All I can find now are the pencils you have to sharpen, and the color is not exactly right. And, as I sharpen the pencil, it gets too small for my old hands. I do not get a lot of use out of these. No one else seems to manufacture that same type of pencil in a light brown color. I have checked all the stores in our area and have stopped at several drugstores on my travels to check for the pencils, and have never been able to find them. I checked online but cannot access a place to inquire about this product. Can you help? — Audrey Schimmel, Johns Creek

A: I found Maybelline ExpertWear brow and eye liner in the red twist pencil online at www.buymebeauty.com. It comes in medium and light brown colors, and sells for $7.99. You can order your pencil through the website or call customer service at 954-568-7150. The item number you'll want to use is 040324-1:MB-LB/CP. You might want to buy a couple so you don't run out anytime soon.

Q: I would like to purchase KC ginger mint candy in Atlanta, but I can't locate it. Would you please inform me of where I might find it either locally or online? Thanks. — Carolyn Patton, email

A: Bourda Green Caribbean Grocery, 2575 Snapfinger Road, Decatur, 678-418-7270, stocks a variety of KC candies and often has the ginger mints when the distributor can bring them in from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, where the candies are manufactured. The store was expecting a shipment when I called, so you might call to see if they're in stock. In the meantime, you can order 3.52-ounce bags of KC ginger mints for $2.49 through www.amazon.com.

Q: My family and I have become almost addicted to Ruby Red Crystal Light, but about a year ago it disappeared from Publix shelves, so I have been resorting to online sources. Is there any reliable source for this? I would willingly buy a case. — Rob Hoddeson, Alpharetta

A: Rob, it's unfortunate that you and your family got hooked on a product that's been discontinued. And I can tell that everybody's stash is drying up because there aren't any on Amazon and only a few available on www.ebay.com. But if you really want it, that's your best choice because I saw some Crystal Light Ruby Red on the auction site. You might consider weaning your family off of the now-ridiculously expensive Ruby Red, then when you find another flavor you fall for, stockpile it so that you don't find yourself stuck without your favorite beverage when it gets the ax.

Q: Please help me find Stephan Island Lime cologne for men. It's very refreshing to use after shaving, especially on hot, humid days. I've looked around the drugstores in my area, but no one seems to sell this anymore. Is it still around, and can I buy it locally? Thank you. — Tom Jackson, Atlanta

A: Tom, a splash of Stephan Island Lime, which offers up a dry, not sweet, citrus scent, sounds like the perfect way to combat an Atlanta heat wave. You’ll find long-neck bottles of the cologne for $6.95 each at Atlanta Barber and Beauty Supply, 186 Mitchell St., Atlanta, 800-969-5666.
