Q: We are in need of a CD storage unit that we have seen but can't locate. We've tried various stores and Amazon. No luck. It's four-sided, 4 and ½ feet tall, and it rotates. We appreciate any help you can give us. Thanks in advance. — Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Calderone, Austell

A: I found a heavy duty, four-sided spinning media tower that measures just over 4 feet high. It’s available in black or oak finishes, and holds up to 832 CDs or 340 DVDs or 624 Blu-ray discs. And if you still have VHS videos hanging around, the tower can hold 200. The media storage unit is available online through smartfurniture.com, or you can call 888-467-6278. It’s priced at $224. You also can check out the Prepac BMS-0800 Black four-sided Spinning Tower from walmart.com for $157.79. Note that this comes from another dealer, so it’s not a ship-to-store item.

Q: I have been looking for a thermal coffee dispenser like the ones found in waiting rooms – usually in pairs for regular and decaf coffees. They're not carried by Walmart, Target or Lowe's, and the coffee companies only provide them to their customers. I would appreciate it if you could tell me where I could find such a dispenser. — Richard Snyder, Atlanta

A: Richard, while there are plenty of them online, I found a 3-liter vacuum server by Winco that has a glass-lined stainless steel body. You can check it out at Restaurant Equipment and Supply, 3639 Presidential Parkway, Atlanta, 770-455-0069. It’s priced at $32.99.

Q: As I cook for only two and try to buy family packs of meat to save a little, I've become a big fan of those little bags one slips over one's hand to pick up and store single portions of meats for freezing. Can't remember what company makes them, but they are called Perfect Portions. I've checked our local grocery stores, and Big Lots, and haven't been able to find them. Please help! Plan B is labor intensive, time consuming and requires handling meat more than I think is a good idea. Thanks. — Sue Wray, Marietta

A: Sue, Perfect Portions are from Ziploc, and it’s never a good sign when you can’t find them in major markets. But, for now, you can order the bags through amazon.com. A box of 75 “portion and freeze with ease” bags will set you back $5.26, and you can get free shipping with an order of $35 or more. You might want to stock up in case these go by the wayside and you’re left bagless once more.

Q: I hope you can help me. My aunt used to make the best macaroni salad, and her secret ingredient was a jar of Nance's corn relish. I really want to make this for my family over the holidays but I can't seem to find this special relish. I really don't want to have to order it and pay more for shipping than the cost of the product. If you could help me, I'd be so grateful – and so would my family! — Sue Davis, Alpharetta

A: Not to worry, Sue, your holiday macaroni salad will be studded with bits of sweet corn relish from Nance’s. You’ll find all you need at Kroger, 12460 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, 770-740-2060. The relish is located with the pickles, and a 9.5-ounce jar costs $3.29.
