We made it past Monday, and we’re already looking forward to the weekend. But there’s no need to wait until then to get out of the house for a little entertainment.

Here are a few highlights, and some links to more options.

“MARK STEINMETZ: TERMINUS”

Mark Steinmetz finds something special at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. "Training his camera on the goings-on at the world's busiest airport, Athens-based photographer Mark Steinmetz captures this unique world in a bubble," writes Felicia Feaster for the AJC, "zeroing in on those stolen moments, finding the peculiar and particular within the grand scheme." The exhibition continues through June 3, and the High Museum of Art is open Tuesdays-Sundays. $14.50; free for ages 5 and younger and members. 1280 Peachtree St. NE, Atlanta. 404-733-4444, www.high.org.

NATALIA LAFOURCADE

Natalia LaFourcade brings Mexican musical tradition to Center Stage on Wednesday, May 9. You might have seen her on the Oscars earlier this year, where she performed "Remember Me" from the movie "Coco" with Miguel. Lafourcade is a Grammy-winning musician who released her debut album back in 2003. While much of her work leans toward rock and pop, her most recent albums have a more traditional feel. She's released two volumes of "Musas," one in 2017 and one in 2018, both albums are homages to the musical heritage of Latin America. The first was nominated for best album at the Latin Grammys, where it won the award for best folk album. $40-$45. 1374 W. Peachtree St., Atlanta. www.centerstage-atlanta.com.

“DR. SEUSS’S CAT IN THE HAT”

The beloved children's classic comes to life on stage at the Center for Puppetry Arts. The show is in its final weeks, continuing through May 20, so catch it before it's gone. There are performances every day, except Mondays. Tickets for the show are $25 and include the live performance, a Create-A-Puppet Workshop or to-go kit and admission to the Worlds of Puppetry Museum. 1404 Spring St. NW, Atlanta.  Tickets and times are at puppet.org.
