Sorry Olivia and Atticus, but you’ve been dethroned.

Nameberry has released its list of the most popular baby names for the first quarter of 2019, and it appears parents are changing their tastes.

New at the top of the girls list is Posie, overtaking 2018's top girl name, Olivia. Posie can stand on its own or be a nickname for Mariposa, Josephine, Sophia or Penelope, according to Nameberry's experts.

Olivia has dropped to No. 3. Isla is now at No. 2, with Aurora and Maeve rounding out the top five.

Aurora was the Roman goddess of the dawn. The name became more mainstream with the growing popularity of Disney princesses, because Sleeping Beauty's name is Princess Aurora.

Maeve is of Irish origin and means "she who intoxicates." Maeve appears in Irish mythology in two forms, one as the powerful queen of Connacht, the other as the queen of the fairies.

On the boys list, Milo assumes the No. 1 spot previously held by Atticus.

Its rise might be linked to the popularity of the TV show “This Is Us,” and its star Milo Ventimiglia, Nameberry says. Milo has roots in both Latin and Old German. It can mean either soldier or merciful.

No. 2 is Jasper, which is of Persian origin meaning "bringer of treasure."

Atticus has fallen to No. 3, with Theodore and Asher rounding out the Top 5 boys list.

Theodore is of Greek origin and means "gift of God."

Asher — "an excellent, soft and sensitive Old Testament choice" — is a baby boy name on the rise and is a Nameberry biblical favorite.

Nameberry calculates its list based on which names on its pages attract the most views.
