Justin and Sophia DeCouto’s new Milton home is far from the coast, but the interiors create a beachy vibe that remind the couple of their native Bermuda.
The couple, who moved to the U.S. in 2007 and previously lived in Brookhaven, purchased the house from builder Edward Andrews Homes. The DeCoutos have infused the Southern traditional home in north Fulton County with furniture and accessories that have a coastal feel.
Details such as sand-color walls serve as a backdrop to picturesque artwork, including a vibrant photograph of Bermuda, which hangs over the wood-burning fireplace in the keeping room.
