The spring edition of the Uncorked Wine Festival promises not to skimp on the options offered for guests to sample near the end of February.

Attendees 21 and over with a valid driver’s license are invited to attend the festival at The Fairmont in west Midtown, where there won’t just be wine to sip, but beer to savor, live music to groove to and wine-activities to keep guests entertained.

For $48, attendees will get access to wine, beer and festivities and take home a souvenir wine glass. Food will also be available to purchase. For those who want something more, there are wine and cheese pairing sessions for purchase starting at $12.50 in addition to required general admission tickets. Three 30-minute sessions run from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Four wines, cheese and and additional accouterments will be on hand. Tickets for designated drivers are $10 but they are not allowed to attend pairings sessions.

The event is organized by Atlanta Sport and Social club, which touts itself as the city's leading organizer of adult sports and social happenings. Not only are they inviting guests to attend, they're also seeking volunteers. Two shifts are available: a pre-event help shift beginning at 10 a.m. and running through 2:30 p.m. and a shift during and after the event from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
