TIGI Catwalk Root Boost spray provides a mousse that adds volume to limp hair.

Where can I find it?

Q: My wife wants me to find her some diet Cheerwine soda. I’m not looking for a big bottle because she just wants one or two smaller bottles since it’s not something she drinks very often. Thank you. Frank Walton, email

A: The wild-cherry flavored soft drink was created in 1917 in South Carolina, and it’s still a family owned business. Cost Plus World Market, 840 Ernest W. Barrett Parkway, Kennesaw, 770-794-4777, regularly stocks diet (and regular) Cheerwine soda. The 12-ounce glass bottles are sold individually for $1.49 each.

Q: I am unable to find the white chocolate-covered Oreos that are sold during the Christmas season. Have they been discontinued? Mendy Huff, Clarkesville

A: Mendy, they’re still around but since the Nabisco white fudge-covered Oreo cookies are a limited edition item, they disappear pretty quickly. One store manager I spoke with said that he received some with his regular Oreo shipment but they quickly sold out and he won’t receive any more white fudge-covered Oreos until next holiday season. So, run, don’t walk to CVS, 4600 Roswell Road, Atlanta, 404-236-2111. The store has Nabisco white fudge-covered Oreo cookies currently in stock, but it’s likely they won’t last long. Each box costs $4.19.

Q: I used to buy kerosene at a filling station across from Ace Hardware in Decatur. They no longer sell it. Where can buy kerosene from a filling station in Atlanta? I don’t want to go to Home Depot and pay a fortune for it. James Wilson, Atlanta

A: James, there are still a few gas stations selling kerosene. Locally, you can pick up kerosene for $4.99 per gallon at Texaco Quick Stop Food Mart, 4962 Jonesboro Road, Forest Park, 404-254-4165.

Q: I’m having trouble finding my favorite hair product, TIGI Catwalk Root Boost spray. It works perfectly on my straight fine hair. Tell me it’s not discontinued. Thanks for any help you can give me. C. Jensen, email

A: Catwalk Root Boost spray by TIGI is still available. This lightweight foam works to lift and support your hair, adding volume at the roots. You can find the skinny purple 8.1-ounce can of Catwalk for $17 at Ulta Beauty, 1801 Howell Mill Road, Atlanta, 404-355-1326.
