Q: I would like to find the drink Postum. — Shirley Davis, Jonesboro

A: Postum, a caffeine-free hot beverage made from roasted wheat-bran and molasses was around for about 100 years before production was halted in 2007. Distraught fans clamored for the drink’s return and, today, Eliza’s Quest Foods owns the rights to Postum. While the company is working on getting the product into more stores, including Walmart, it currently is available online, www.postum.com, and through a handful of retail outlets. Locally, you can buy Postum for $10.99 per jar at the Adventist Book Center, 294 Hamilton E. Holmes Drive, Atlanta, 404-799-1003.

Q: We just moved to Atlanta and are renting an older home. The bathroom and kitchen tile is a mess and needs some heavy cleaning. I want to use a stripper that doesn’t contain acid. The brand I’m looking for is TileLab. Can you find this for me, please? Thank you. — S. Grider, email

A: TileLab heavy duty cleaner and stripper is formulated to remove grease build up, scuff marks and major stains. It also removes light cement grout haze and some mortar residue. It doesn’t contain acid so it’s safe to use on tile, stone, marble and granite without harming the grout or stone. You’ll find a 32-ounce bottle of the stripper for $8.87 at Home Depot, 6400 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Sandy Springs, 770-804-8065.

Q: A few years ago, I purchased a watermelon called the Sangria watermelon and it has spoiled me for all watermelons. It was the sweetest and tastiest that I have ever had and I pride myself in being a watermelon aficionado. I purchased that one at Food Depot and have searched feverishly since then, with no results. I have looked online and found that there is a farm in south Georgia that grows them. Other than that, I only find seeds to purchase. Can you help me find one in the Atlanta or Marietta area before watermelon season is over again and I do not get the opportunity to sink my teeth into that wonderful delicacy? Thank you. — Ora Poole, email

A: Ora, I’m going to send you to David’s Produce and Country Store, 3561 Lavista Road, Decatur, 404-325-0709. The store has been getting some Sangria watermelons or, as owner David likes to call them, “real watermelons, not those itty bitty things you find at the grocery store.” Note that they come in sporadically, but the store also stocks Fiesta watermelons, which David says are pretty much identical to the Sangria. Both are huge, seeded melons that cut blood red. The Sangria and Fiesta watermelons at the store start at around 25 pounds and go up to about 50 pounds. They sell for $7.99 each, and you’ll pay an extra dollar for the larger melons.
