April 1 marked the beginning of Autism Awareness Month, but it's just business as usual for the ALEX and ANI stores throughout the country; their CHARITY BY DESIGN collection continues to inspire all those who look to enhance the lives of those around them.

With two locations in Atlanta, women wanting affordable jewelry while donating to a good cause should head to either ALEX and ANI store in Ponce City Market or Lenox Square.

In partnerships with as many as 46 non-profit organizations, ALEX and ANI donates 20 percent of the purchase price from their CHARITY BY DESIGN collections.

Some of the newest products with the CHARITY BY DESIGN collection include the Kindred Cord (with 20 percent of the purchase price going to RED Heart), the Kindred Cord Daisy (Peace Corps), The Earth Caretakers Collection (UNICEF) and the Kindred Cord Shamrock (Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation).

The Piece of the Puzzle Charm Bangle is one of several products at ALEX and ANI's that donates 20 percent of its sales to the National Autism Association.

Since February of 2011 the ALEX and ANI CHARITY BY DESIGN collection has provided training for over 6,200 athletes around the world through the Special Olympics.

"Once we know we want to partner through design with a specific organization, we strategically work with our founder, CEO and chief creative officer, Carolyn Rafaelian, and with our partner to come up with the month and date that perfectly aligns with the mission and meaning of our partner and naturally syncs up with our brand," said Meredith Pratt, public relations coordinator at ALEX and ANI.

"In 2016 alone, we have over 10 new design launches, some with new partners and some refreshing an existing partnership," Pratt said.

The ALEX and ANI Lenox Square store is located at 3393 Peachtree Road, while ALEX and ANI Ponce City is at 675 Ponce De Leon Avenue NE.
