Ann Taylor gets fans ready for the Braves game

Spring is here and summer is not far behind. That means it's Braves baseball season in Atlanta and Ann Taylor has a few ideas for the female baseball fan in every family.
Ann Taylor style expert Emily Evans believes there are more than a few pieces that will go well with the next ball game on your summer schedule.
When asked why a Braves fan would shop at Ann Taylor Evans answered, "Because we have so many crisp, versatile separates that can be paired to match with your team's jersey, t-shirt or cap." And since baseball season happens to coincide with the Independence Day holiday, it just so happens that the color palette of red, white and blue also matches the colors of the Atlanta Braves.
For most of the baseball season, fans will be sitting in plastic chairs in temperatures closer to 90 degrees for at least three hours at minimum. Evans recommends the Fluid Pants ($119) for a cooler sitting experience. "In soft crimson so that the colors match coordinates perfectly with Braves team colors," she says.
The linen pants are breathable and according to Evans, "great to keep you cool and comfortable, day or night. And the wide-leg style is flattering on everyone." Evans also recommends the Devin Gingham Crop Pants ($89). "In navy blue, the cropped pants are on-trend for this spring and summer and the colors will look great with a Braves t-shirt or jersey," she says.
If a Braves t-shirt isn't your thing, the V-Back Shell ($49.50), available in black or navy blue, and the Brenton Stripe Tank ($59.50) can made the grade during day or night games while easily transitioning for a stylish look after the game is done and dinner plans are made.
Turner Field and the Braves future home in Cobb County, SunTrust Park, are built for walking around and before and after games.
"Choosing the right footwear is crucial for game day," says Evans, "and heels or platforms are not recommended." Ann Taylor offers a few more suitable options such as the Mackenzie Leather Laceup Ballet Flats ($118) that Evans says are "comfortable and cute and will match with any outfit." The Monica Grommet Strappy Leather Sandals ($98) is another option.
With the sun shining down during a day game, Ann Taylor brand Boardwalk Sunglasses ($48) will help fans keep their eyes on the ball. When the sun sets late in the game and the temperature drops, Evans recommends the Boatneck Summer Sweater ($79.50, available in navy blue and black) and the Linen Blend Open Cardigan ($69.50) for the "chill in the air."
Ann Taylor may not be the first retailer you think of when you're looking for the right outfit for one of the 81 Braves home games this summer but Evans believes Ann Taylor has the right combination of game day outfits and weekend wear.
"Ann Taylor strives to understand the women of today and to meet the needs for their busy schedules. As women juggle more activities and roles, we help them live their active, full lives with confidence and style."
