Hindu festival of color festival begins

Things to Do

As Christians celebrate Holy Week, members of the Hindu religion are celebrating Holi, a festival celebrated by painting each others, handing out candy and squirting water at other festival-goers. The holiday starts with a bonfire, followed by paint throwing. It's all to celebrated spring's arrival and the victory of good over evil.
