Kristallnacht Ceremony: All are invited to a Kristallnacht commemoration ceremony from 7-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10 at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta's (MJCCA) Besser Holocaust Memorial Garden. The event will feature Dr. Ruth Westheimer, the famed sex therapist, author and Holocaust survivor. The ceremony will include the lighting of the six torches. Holiday festival: "New This Year" will be the theme of this year's holiday festival hosted by Dunwoody United Methodist Church. The festivities will kick off at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13; at 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, a pancake breakfast will be available followed by the full opening at 9 a.m. The festival will feature a juried show of handmade arts and crafts, food, photos with Santa and more.
