Guest speaker: Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum, president emeritus of Spelman College and author, will deliver the message at First Congregational Church, her home church. When she stepped down as president in 2015, she updated her book, "Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria?" which addresses issues including the elections of Presidents Obama and Trump, the Black Lives Matter movement and the police shootings that galvanized many black youths. 11 a.m. Aug. 5.
