Tree Lighting: Peachtree Road United Methodist Church will present "The Great Tree Lighting," a program which features music and the lighting of the Chrismon Tree to signal the beginning of Advent. White and gold Chrismons, which are special, symbolic tree decorations representing Christianity, will be presented to children and youth as they perform. Visits with Santa: Santa Claus is coming to town and children will be able to get up close and personal with him! From 10 – 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Bethel United Methodist Church, children will be able to meet and take pictures with Santa, tell him their wishes, hear stories and partake in crafts. Sing, dance and play: Clairmont Presbyterian Church will host "Snowbound: Christmas at Clairmont," at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12.
