Fish fry: To celebrate the Lenten season, a fish fry featuring fried and baked fish, fried shrimp, grilled salmon, crabcakes plus a variety of sides will be available from 5:30-8 p.m. March 31 and April 7 at the auditorium of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. The meal will be $8-$11 for adults and $4-$6 for children 5-12 years old. Seniors will receive a discount. Takeout will also be available. Open to all. Flea market: An assortment of items including furniture, electronics, clothing, art, collectibles, jewelry, appliances and more will be offered during a flea market, which will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. April 7-8 at the United Methodist Children's Home (UMCH). The event will also include a bake sale. Proceeds of the sale of donated items will help UMCH reach more children and families in crisis in communities across North Georgia. Free and open to all. Easter egg hunt: In celebration of Easter, an egg hunt with free food, games, prizes and more will be held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. April 15 at Milam Park (3867 Norman Road, Clarkston). The egg hunt will begin at 12:30 p.m. and participants should bring their own baskets. This event will be sponsored by Clarkston First Baptist Church. Free and open to all. Cue a concert: The North American premiere of "A Gospel Line," a musical by Irish composer Gavin Byrne, will highlight the journey of Christian faith from creation to Resurrection at 8 p.m. April 7-8 at Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Summer camp registration: Rising kindergartners through ninth-graders will be able to participate in specialty and performing arts summer day camp beginning June 5 through July 28 at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta.
