I AM B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L., an educational enrichment nonprofit organization dedicated to building self-esteem and leadership capability in girls and women, will host its annual mother-daughter slumber party Jan. 16 at the Lake Lanier Island Legacy Lodge in Buford.
The Pink Pajama Jam, scheduled to get underway at 3 p.m., is designed to help transform the lives of girls and their mothers, guardians and mentor through a series of engaging learning activities. Topics will include, among other things, communicating with confidence, healthy relationships and understanding our emotions.
In addition to completing a service project with their mother or mentor, participants will be treated to a night of movies, manicures, make-up, and more.
