QuikTrip has a special deal for educators in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week.

From 6 a.m. to noon Friday, May 10, teachers and school employees can get a free beverage by showing a valid faculty or staff ID. The offer includes fountain drinks, and self-serve coffee and tea.

"We wholeheartedly believe that our educators are fundamental to the long-term success of our future generations," the Georgia Sun quoted Mendi Parker, QuikTrip's marketing and communications manager, as saying. "On behalf of all QuikTrip employees, it is our pleasure to recognize teachers and school employees for the important roles they play in our communities."

But wait, there’s more.

You can go to QuikTrip’s Facebook page and nominate a teacher to receive free drinks for a year and a $200 Visa gift card. Just put the teacher’s name and school in the comments field.
