Photos: Roswell photographer captures daughters in 'Strong is the New Pretty'

Two years ago, Roswell photographer Kate Parker put together a series of photos documenting the lives of her daughters Ella, now 9, and Alice, now 6. About a year ago, the series changed shape. "I started to see patterns and recognize that the images where the girls were authentically captured were the strongest images," Parker said. "The images that showed the girls as they genuinely are were my favorites. . After seeing this, I started to shoot with that in mind." The series, "Strong is the New Pretty," has taken on a life of its own, with mentions on Today.com and Buzzfeed. Click through to see strong, pretty photos of Parker's daughters and their friends.
