Believed to be the oldest home in Buckhead, this pre-Civil War home, located at 1450 W. Wesley Road, was likely built some time in the 1830s. The original location of the home was the North Georgia town of Resaca. It was moved to Buckhead in 1959 by a local engineer and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Walker. The home was updated by the current owner, who bought the house in 1985, and it's now on the market with a list price of $1,299,000. For more info, including video, go to Buckhead.com.
