The tufted headboard was a Goodwill find that McNeal Walker Interiors redesigned for Tony McNeal’s and Carlton Walker’s master bedroom in Atlanta’s West End. A paneled accent wall, painted in Sherwin-Williams Dorian Gray, and mirrored accents like the Horchow bedside dresser and mirrored headboard, add depth to the master bedroom. A gray and white rug from West Elm remains true to the color scheme and anchors the room, while cement pendant lighting from Four Hands creates a sense of symmetry. Cathy Ehrler and Donald Thurman added a balcony to their master bedroom, giving the space more light and providing a private place for them to step outside. Over their Cantoni bed is a beautiful painting that Cathy created for the space. On the wall to the left of the balcony is another of Cathy’s paintings, inspired by a trip she and Donald took to Europe. The master bedroom of Jeff and Paola Roder’s home has more muted colors than the common areas, with a color palette inspired by portraits of Frida Kahlo that hang on either side of the bed, both painted by Heather Felder, a Mexican and Norwegian artist.
