The Father’s Table pantry at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church will give away bags of food and offer prayers to families in need on Saturday.

The drive-up distribution will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church’s Family Life Center, 6400 Woodrow Rd. in Stonecrest.

All food giveaways will be on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.

On Tuesday, New Birth served 308 families.

New Birth is also seeking donations of  canned goods and non-perishable items at the church (administrative office side of the building) or monetary donations at newbirth.org (specify the King's Table).

New Birth is not just offering food for the body, but nourishment for the soul as well.
