As multipurpose developments continue to crop up throughout Alpharetta, a new batch of townhomes are now listed for sale.

The development, dubbed “Artisan,” is situated just south of Avalon, the major Alpharetta mixed-use project.

With two different floorplans available, the townhouses range in size from 1,913-2,005 square feet. Both models have three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms and start at $413,000.

The Miami-based homebuilder behind the project, Lennar, is promoting the properties as “a chef's dream” with a “gourmet kitchen with oversized center island which overlooks the dining room and the family room.”

The properties, which were listed earlier this week, are less than a mile from Amaris Bank Amphitheatre and offer easy access to Ga. 400, according to Lennar's listings.

“Homeowners will enjoy the convenience of these low-maintenance townhomes, desirable interior features and swim amenities,” the listing touts.

The homes also come equipped with build-in bookshelves, a fireplace and a backyard patio.

Since its 2014 debut, Avalon and the development that has sprung up around it, have changed the game for mixed-use living outside the Perimeter.

The 86-acre development has more than 500,000 square feet of retail space, a movie theater, conference space and a hotel.

In addition to the on-site residents, it has also attracted surrounding developments like the Artisan townhomes.

Elsewhere in Alpharetta, the 135-acre mixed-use development, known as Halcyon, continues to come to life.

The $370 million mini-city, located in southern Forsyth County is about 25 miles from downtown Atlanta, joined mixed-used developments like Avalon and the North Point Mall project, when it opened last year.
