A new exhibit at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta allows children to playfully explore life inside a castle.
“The Amazing Castle,” at the museum through Sept. 9, transports families inside a castle’s stone walls where everyone has a job to do – from picking vegetables and preparing a royal meal to building furniture and presenting a puppet show. There’s even a sleeping dragon, and visitors can help wake up the serpent-like creature by completing an electronic puzzle.
The AJC recently connected with Lauren Baker, manager of public programs at the museum, to discuss this creative new exhibit.
The AJC’s weekly accessAtlanta podcast brings you the stories that make our eclectic city one of a kind. Go with us behind the scenes for interviews with the people who create movies, music and art that’s making waves around the world. We’ll share some fun things to do in Atlanta over the next 10 days, too.
