This weekend, the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will meet in football’s biggest game. Ahead of the Super Bowl, WalletHub analyzed the best cities for football across the country.

The personal finance website looked at factors such as NFL team performance, average ticket price for an NFL game, stadium capacity and number of college football teams when determining the best cities for football fans.

The report compared more than 240 cities across the country that have at least one college or professional football team.

They also considered factors like fan friendliness, fan engagement, number of coaches in the past 10 seasons and number of championship wins.

So how does Atlanta stack up on the list? Much like the Falcons season itself: could be better, could be worse.
