Every room needs: Something old or vintage, like an antique chest of drawers or a primitive trunk.
Design pet peeves: When rooms look too perfect or not lived in.
Biggest design mistake I have made: Not testing wall paint samples and finishes.
… and biggest design homeowners make: Skimping on upholstery pieces used every day. It's worth spending a bit more to ensure quality and comfort that get a lot of use.
Current design obsession(s): Canopy beds and serpent-shaped sofas.
New (or re-emerging) looks I like: Marrying old with new.
… and looks I am glad (or would like) to see go: Oversized furniture.
Unusual request: Design a space and the color scheme to coordinate with their cat's fur color.
