When Seth and Allie Ott bought their Craftsman style home in 2012, the house hadn’t been renovated since it was built in 1956. The couple renovated the kitchen and living room that same year, and in 2017 they added 1,700 square feet to the rear of the home.
“We were growing our family and desperately needed a bigger space, but we absolutely love our location and our tight-knit community,” said Allie. “We looked at so many houses and never felt at peace with the decision to leave our home, so we decided adding to it would be the best for us.”
The couple worked with architect Ebru Ercan of e3 design and builder Jessica Murphy with Her Cave Atlanta on the 2017 addition, adding a living room, home office, master suite and laundry room with an art space.
