The 2008 Southern Accents Showhouse is a four-level home in the recently built Regent's Park at Peachtree Battle. Residential designers Yong Pak and Charles Heydt of Pak Heydt & Associates and Atlanta interior designer Dan Carithers teamed to give the $4.1 million home its regal feel.

A portion of the $1,650 owed in monthly homeowner's fees helps maintain the one-acre private park.

Wrought-iron banisters complement the wood flooring in the stairwell. For a quicker trip, one may also use the home's private elevator.

Stone Age Designs provided the travertine hood in the kitchen. Carithers used beams on the ceiling to give the kitchen and keeping room a rustic feel.

In a home filled with luxurious fabrics, even the Carerra marble countertop is called "cashmere."

The keeping room across from the kitchen island is anchored by chocolate walls and rich fabrics. The travertine fireplace echoes a travertine hood on the opposite wall. Residential designers Yong Pak and Charles Heydt incorporated built-ins in several rooms to give the home a classic feel.

In the master bedroom, renowned designer Dan Carithers used creams and beige fabrics to give the room a peaceful feel. The walls are covered in fabric ⿿ a technique Carithers employed throughout the home.

The angel canopy over the bed has the same houndstooth fabric found on the sofa. The Gables Antiques provided the chest; the mirror above the chest is from William Word Fine Antiques.

Carithers used an upholstered sofa from his collection by Sherrill Furniture in the master suite. The tan and cream houndstooth pattern is by Schumacher.

The home has private his and her bathrooms. This walk-in shower in "his" bathroom features tilework and fixtures by Waterworks.

Bright flowers provide natural pops of color in the formal living room.

Designers Yong Pak and Charles Heydt created this space to serve three functions ⿿ as a living room, library, and dining area. Intricate crown molding gives the home an old-world feel.

The second floor study has a decidedly more masculine feel than the rest of the home. Here, an olive and cream fabric by Schumacher is found on the walls and drapes, while rich red fabrics warm the room. Liz Vaughan, who worked with Carithers on the home, said the designer considers red a neutral.

The dining table, by Althorp, doubles as a library table.

This grandfather clock adds a stately mood to the study.

The top floor is home to a children's play area. The slipper chairs are from Carither's furniture collection by Sherrill. Petite Orkney chairs complement the room's whimsical tone.

Petite chairs like this are found throughout the home.

With faux-bamboo posts on the Patina Inc. bed, the second guest room has a tropical feel. Carithers uses a green-gray Chelsea Editions fabric on the walls and drapes.

A guest room is draped in this blue-gray Hodsoll McKenzie toile. The wall is covered in the same fabric.
