Amanda has a historic preservation degree, and Philippe grew up in a 1920s home in Miami. They took their affinity for old houses and put it into their new home.

Amanda and Philippe Pellerin purchased their Grant Park home in 2014, and they live there with their two children, Gigi and Jules Pellerin, and their two dogs, Bogart and Jack. Amanda is an archivist at Georgia Institute of Technology, and Philippe is a real estate developer with Pellerin Real Estate. Philippe and Amanda Pellerin purchased their historic Grant Park home in 2014 and proceeded to update it and restore it to a single-family home. Before they bought it, the home had spent time as a church, a restaurant and had been on its way to becoming a bed and breakfast. After a kitchen remodel and a renovation of the top floor, the house was perfect for the couple and their two children. The gallery wall in Philippe and Amanda Pellerin’s home is was put together with the help of Home Staging Love, and has some of the family’s favorite pieces in it. The gallery wall includes family photos, a ship painted by Philippe’s dad, a WWI era cuckoo clock and a restaurant menu reading “Boulevard” collected by Amanda’s aunt. Text by Shannon Dominy. A pressed tin tile ceiling and a porch swing makes the upstairs porch of Amanda and Philippe Pellerin’s home bright and inviting. The swing was a Mother’s Day present a few years ago and the tin tiles follow Southern tradition of painting a porch ceiling light blue to encourage bugs to fly up and away from people.
