Homeowner Michael Marblestone worked as a builder, assisted by LandART and Tojo Construction, to build his European-style cottage home in 2015. Michael himself sourced and salvaged much of the material for the home, particularly the wood for the flooring, beams and barn doors. The house is 6,200 square feet, including a daylight basement with a mother-in-law suite, with a total of six bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms. Text by Shannon Dominy. Photo by Reynolds Rogers.
