As Christmas draws to a close, you may be wondering what to do with that lovely Christmas tree? You’ve gotten a good month of cheer and holiday spirit out of it, but that tree isn’t done giving just yet.

As Christmas ends, Georgia's "Bring one for the Chipper" kicks off. The annual state-wide Christmas tree recycling program encourages residents to recycle their trees at a designated Christmas tree recycling locations.

Trees are then converted into mulch for playgrounds, local government beautification projects and individual yards.
