Methane Studios call East Atlanta home, but illustrators Mark McDevitt and Robert Lee have attracted attention all over the world with their screen printed gig posters. The duo has created limited-edition art for internationally touring artists like Dave Matthews Band and Lorde just to name a few. But lucky for us, the artists are right in our own backyard.

The duo describes the Methane aesthetic as bold and minimal, influenced by the colors of mid-century design and always a little rough and handcrafted. And despite their worldwide acclaim, the place they call home is still near and dear to McDevitt and Lee. Their love of Atlanta is apparent in several Georgia-centric designs like their ATL neon sign prints.

"We use the computer like a pencil or paint brush," the illustrators say of their process. "The computer has allowed us to speed things up and to explore more options for sure, but we still belly up to the drafting table often. We draw inspiration from many artists be it musical or visual and our work tends to have a vintage influence."

Prints range between $25 and $50.
