Amie Esslinger is the daughter of two notable contemporary outsider artists, Sarah Rakes and Mike Esslinger. Her work draws upon bold colors and intricate patterns painted onto paper that is then meticulously glued together to create a 3-D piece, "Predetermined Illness."
