The Church of the Common Ground, led by Rev. Mary Wetzel, has been meeting weekly for morning prayer at the downtown since 2006 averaging 45-50 people every Sunday. It is a worshiping community of the Episcopal Church in Middle and North Georgia (Diocese of Atlanta), which provides support for the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of unhoused men and women.
