Illuminated lady bugs at the entrance to the Edible Garden are part of "Garden Lights, Holiday Nights," at the Atlanta Botanical Garden Nov. 16-Jan. 4 at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. The big addition this year is that "Earth Goddess, " the 30 feet wide by 25 feet tall sculpture from the "Imaginary Worlds" exhibit, will be turned into "Ice Goddess" (with LED lights replacing plants), and two cobras from the popular summer exhibit also will get the holidays lights treatment. Between 1 to 1-1/2 million lights are used in the holiday light program. KENT D. JOHNSON / KDJOHNSON@AJC.COM
