The new-year-new-you concept doesn't mean you can't still have fun dates in Atlanta. You may even have resolved to have more dates this year — wouldn't January 1st be a great day to start? The only problem is, sometimes your resolutions conflict with all your former go-to date possibilities. But don't pitch the commitment like the 80 percent of resolution makers who are done within 30 days, according to Business Insider.

Instead, try a different date option than your typical on the first weekend of the New Year. Also keep in mind that Stanford researchers found that relating the behavioral changes you want to make to similar changes in societal norms help you keep up with that resolution.
