Who says you have to go on an Easter egg hunt during the day?

Here’s a look at four places hiding eggs in the dark, giving a new twist to a beloved holiday tradition:

Rhodes Jordan Park Soccer Fields

100 E Crogan St, Lawrenceville

The hunt is on for Easter eggs … in the dark! Experience the thrill of night time hunting during this egg-stra special Easter experience. During the first half of this event, children will enjoy making themed crafts. Then the egg hunt for children 2-5 begins promptly at 8:00pm, ages 6-9 at 8:30pm and ages 10-12 at 8:45pm. March 19. Be sure to bring your basket and a flashlight. Space is limited so register early. Parents are free and must accompany children. Tolleson Park

3515 McCauley Road, Smyrna

Children up to age 10 years are encouraged to bring a flashlight and Easter basket for the hunt. Children will be divided into age groups. Youngest age group (children 5 years and younger) will begin their hunt at 7:30 p.m. Children age 6 to 10 years get started at about 8 p.m. March 19/ Cost: Advanced Registration is $5 per family / $10 per family at the gate

The Acworth Egg Hunt

Acworth Sports Complex-Baseball Fields – 4000 South Main St., Acworth

The Acworth Egg Hunt begins with the Easter Bunny parachuting into this event. And then the hunt for 50,000 eggs will begin. Before the hunt you can enjoy of face painting, balloon animals, inflatables, a photo booth and a petting zoo! This city sponsored event is free. March 18. Families are recommended to arrive by 6:15 pm. The event will end at 9 p.m. The hunt begins at 7:30 p.m.

High Falls State Park (76 High Falls Park Drive, Jackson) - 50 minutes from Atlanta

The third annual Glow-n-Dark egg hunt at High Falls State Park will feature more than 4,000 glowing eggs will fill the day use area. Join in before the hunt for carnival-style games and s'mores. Registration is required and space is limited.

7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. March 26. High Falls State Park. Admission is $5 per person. There is also a $5 parking fee per vehicle. To reserve a space, call 478-993-3053
