Which celebrity couples split in 2012? We show you who called it quits.

Actor Dennis Quaid's third wife, Kimberly Buffington Quaid, filed for divorce March 2, saying the couple's seven-year marriage has "become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities." They have two children, Zoe and Thomas, born in 2007. Quaid previously married and divorced actresses P.J. Soles and Meg Ryan.

"Twilight" actor Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth of "Beverly Hills, 90210" announced in March that they were getting divorced after 11 years of marriage. They agreed to share custody of their three children: 14-year-old Luca, 9-year-old Lola and 5-year-old Fiona.

Supermodel Heidi Klum filed for divorce April 6 from singer Seal, citing irreconcilable differences. They married in 2005 and have four children together, including Klum's daughter from a previous relationship.

Actor Martin Lawrence filed for divorce from Shamicka Lawrence on April 25 in Los Angeles, citing irreconcilable differences. They were married in July 2010 and have two daughters.

"Diff'rent Strokes" actor Todd Bridges and his wife of 14 years, Dori, have called it quits, TMZ reported in May.

"Wonder Years" star and math book author Danica McKellar filed for divorce from composer Mike Verta on June 4 after three years of marriage. They have a 2-year-old son, Draco.

Actress Debra Messing filed for divorce from producer Daniel Zelman on June 5 in Los Angeles, citing irreconcilable differences. The pair, who have an 8-year-old son, were married in September 2000 but separated in early 2010.

David Arquette filed for divorce from actress Courteney Cox on June 8 after nearly 13 years of marriage. They had been been separated for two years.

Actor Johnny Depp and his longtime partner Vanessa Paradis, who never married, have ended their 14-year relationship, their publicist said June 19. They have two children.

So much for TomKat. Katie Holmes filed divorce papers against Tom Cruise on June 29 after five years of marriage. Their daughter, Suri, is 6.

Alexa Vega filed for divorce from film producer husband Sean Covel, TMZ reported in mid-July. The couple had been married for less than two years.

In late July, legendary musician Stevie Wonder filed for divorce from his wife of 11 years, fashion designer Kai Millard Morris. They have two sons together.

Kenny G filed for divorce from Lyndie Benson-Gorelick in August. The couple had been married for 20 years.

Football and reality television star Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson and Evelyn Lozada were married in July, but Lozada filed for divorce just 41 days later following Johnson's arrest on a domestic battery charge.

"General Hospital" actress Vanessa Marcil filed for divorce from actor Carmine Giovinazzo on Aug. 17. The couple had been married for two years.

Amy Poehler and husband Will Arnett are separating after nine years of marriage, their publicist confirmed Sept. 6. Poehler and Arnett have two young sons, 3-year-old Archie and 2-year-old Abel.

Actor and skateboarder Bam Margera and his wife Missy Rothstein have called it quits, Rothstein confirmed in a Twitter post Nov. 1. They were married in 2007.

"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Adrienne Maloof and plastic surgeon Paul Nassif announced in November that they have settled their messy divorce, according to TMZ. The couple separated in July after 10 years of marriage.
